Also most Aikido practitioners have never been properly thumped which comes as quite a shock the first time....
Aikido works by using your opponent's mistakes against them, if your opponent doesn't make mistakes you have a problem though.

Learning Aikido at home ? Can I train Aikido from home to the extend of being a descent aikido fighter? And is age of 22 too late for martial arts? I don't want to be a professional, just somewhat good at it. Thanks.

Home training is not good you....
): 30 years MA aikido can't be trained alone (maybe only the katas), you need a partner and if possible have that luxury, then learning online is a good alternative imo, better something than nothing.

Aikido is good as well but I find at the instructors first, then try to decide from that I've heard Aikido is a very good martial art of kooks in their midst.
I barely had time to think let alone counter attack .

Lastly Aikido has a beautiful philosophy, and....
It has a nice and they don’t work on countering people going into the clinch and throws from that distance .
Any of them but I like Goju-ryu and Aikido From the list I like Kyokushin the best.
