Unless your air conditioner is blowing at 100 kph, it has.
EDIT the case to somewhere with better airflow.
This is not the reason your system is overheating.
No effect on the flow of air inside the case.

Is there any way to make the M44 mass air flow sensor work in place of the M42's Air flow Meter?
If I wired it up would it work correctly.
I heard it reads air alot better than the one used on the M42, and this could probably result in a little safer/...

Why do you want to remove it ?
I think if you take a torx screw driver and drill a hole in the middle of it, it should work, but again i dont know why you would want to remove it To clean the wires in it,and the sensor .
