Hi, Since I bought a new 2011 FE 570, almost every time I bleed the air from the forks, a little of oil is coming out from the bleed hole. It is like 5 cc or sometimes even almost 10 cc (I guess) coming out from each fork. Is this normal? I feel a big...

I would definiately get; FMF 4.1 Factory slip-on muffler; System Tech Racing speed bleed fork valves, rear caliper radiator from the air....
By the released air when I depresseed the fork bleeders or unscrewed the bleed screw.
My front forks are not holding air pressure. I just had them rebuit less than a year ago. Does it need it again so soon? Could it be the cold temperature ouside (low 50's)? I really don't want to rebuild them again so soon. If I have to pull them apart...

When the fork compresses, the reduced air capacity will rapidly with oil, the remaining air in the fork will compress pretty quickly when the forks compress under with the air.....
Run zero pressure, so no leaks.

From the spring side, the fork will still not compress all the way, even with without air in the fork all the way without any air in the fork.

Making matter worse on the WP CC forks is the bleed screw passage is shared with the inner.
Open chamber forks have a much more direct path from the bleed screw to the inside of the fork of the fork.

Hi GripTwister, some models don't have air valves on the forks, it depends on the year and which market it was made for.
I've tried searching this, I wanna stiffen the front of the bike up, and am considering a new spring and thinking of doing away with the air ride, anyone else try or do this ? Thanks chad

I spent less than $130.00 total including fork....
They came with new seals and all, just reused my lowers .
I Have a 91 FLHS, I bought a complete set of fork tubes, assembled.
Easiest thing to do is just take all the "air ride" stuff off.
Can some one show me the difference between Ek forks and eg forks? Need pics..I know there's a thread on her but it really isn't clear enough..these are the forks i have... how it fits to the eg lca.. .. ....another fitment picture.... ... ...so what ...

You can see that the EK fork is about an inch the one on the left is the eg/dc fork when it looks just like my ek fork and the one on the right looks different from....
