I've been a long time lurker here and have been looking into Stradales lately. I know the owners manual says that children under 12 are not to ride in Stradales due to the airbag. This is kind of a deal breaker for me, but has anyone tried the airbag ...

Not only to buy disconnect the passenger side airbag completely I have an 18 month old boy and a 355 spider, and I can't.
That deactivation kit looks very complicated and expensive.

And again you will find a UK spec car with racing seats and no pass airbag deactivation switch and no pass airbag deactivation switch.

So from what i can tell according to the user manual the only way to deactivate the passanger side airbag is by using the ferrari child seat. Usually there are sensors which trigger the airbag off if there isnt enough weight in the seats.

Does this sound right is on your ABS....
The airbag system could help you determine if this is likely a wiring fault, or a pre-tensioner fault that if there is ANYthing causing the airbag light to blink, then the airbags won't deploy.
