I got a warning light this morning on my 00' e39 528i, it looks like a little stick man getting crushed by an airbag and its in the top right corner of the right cluster of warning lights. Does anyone know what it means and/or a fix for it?

Airbag Warning Light
Mines been on for a day now, any common fault that makes this a quick fix, i.e. loose connection somewhere?
Am praying that there is before I do what the book says & seek qualified assistance urgently!

HTH, Airbag warning light
With engine switched off, disconnect small connector blocks under the airbag work if the light is on? no air bag doesnt work with light on,get under ya seats you cant and the other airbag....

Hi, i have an airbag warning ligt on the dashboard... red symbol lower RHS, dont have a manual owners or service as yet... any advice on what to look for?

This includes the Engine ECU, ABS module, self leveling suspension, and the SRS airbag unit.

Which Airbag is it, as the passenger one can be a bit problematic if you have stuff on the seat? as this can disable the sensor as it thinks it is a child so airbag gets disabled? No,it does the same for that,I have recently had a front ....

Fit electric seats with working memory and sleep function.
It could be the passenger occupancy sensor mat that failed, a fault with one of the pre-tensioners or seat connector .
Easiest way is by reading the codes.

Another dreaded airbag warning light thread I have done some reading already.
VERY intermittently the drivers airbag light will flash on and off. It doesn't stay on, and seems to do it more when I brake (even VERY light braking).
I'm assuming it's a loose...

Yes to do this and you could have an airbag explode in your face.
