I'm looking for some recomendations on a good set of commuter pants. My ride to work is less than 5 miles with top speeds of 45, but still want some protection. Something not too aggressive looking, easy on/off with knee and hip pads. I usually wear cargo...

It's worked great for me.

In summer it's Olympia Airglide pants and a BMW Airflow and purchased BMW ....
When it comes to touring I find myself most comfortable in the Olympia GT jacket and airglide pants and I have winter totally cover rain or shine.

The pants/black jacket and a pair of all black and all grey pants so that the jacket matches with either pant don't wear jackets....

Hour in the rain with my Airshell and airflow 3 pants and all was dry! I use Firstgear's Kathmandu jacket with their TPG pants at probably half the price of the BMW gear, yet it works just as well pants and an Olympia Jacket for ....

I've got a pair of Joe Rocket Alter Ego overpants that I've been wearing on my commute to and from work (dress pants under) and on 2-3 hour rides around the area (jeans under). I can't see the jeans being comfortable under the overpants for all day riding...

I have Tour Master Flex ....
We both have FirstGear mesh pants.
Probably a little more protective than a regular mesh pant jacket in summer, wife has a Joe Rocket mesh jacket she prefers.
The pants and jacket (hi-vis) and love them.

Can anyone give me a sense of how Olympia jackets are sized? I am 6'1" and 215. Am I looking at an an XL or a 2XL? I seem to have gotten the impression somwhere that they run small.

Airglide 3 in XXL - 6' 2" with....
With both the liners, the xl was very tight in the shoulders .
I wear the airglide 3 in 2xl.
AirGlide pants were a 34...and yes#.
Jacket with the TWO extra liners and it would have been a XXL .
