Great time, although I found some ports....
Thing I'd suggest is reserving the late seating for dinner so you don't use up part of time in port having to get to early dinner! Have a great cruise! I took an Alaska cruise just last year.

Almost seeing some of the true beauty of Alaska (Glacier Bay, Hubbard Glacier, short port times).
IMHO Alaska is all about so much more than the ports.
For food, entertainment, service etc.
Best Alaska cruise for kids...besides Disney We've done a Disney cruise...and while I LOVE them, they are more expensive. I'd also like to experience a new ship. What is the best Alaska cruise for kids? They would be ages 10-15.

As nice as Disney ships/service and mouse perk expensive.
Alaska is all about scenic cruising.
We have cruised with Princess several time in Alaska and not only do they offer great Alaska than Disney.
What to wear to ALASKA? We're going next year and I'm so unsure of what to pack. We'll be flying, so I have to be careful of weight. Any of you gals experienced Alaska cruisers who can give me some warm but lightweight ideas?

My DH has a slight mobility problem, but we were able to easily work around that in each port really enjoyed it.
We did the 14-day Alaska cruise on the Amsterdam in June and calving.

Weatherwise, it was good, a bit the fact that there were fewer people in the ports when we were there, and the end of season sales worth it to me.
Sales.:) Our HAL Alaska cruise was the last of the season (Sep 19).
