Are there any significant advantages to Dolciani over Saxon for pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, alg. 2? Or vice versa?
We're finishing Horizons 6 & Singapore 6 this year. I've looked at almost all the other pre-algebra+ options that come up on the boards...

So you don't have to decide until the end of 87 whether to go on to Algebra 1 right away or not.
Saxon pre-algebra is that you can have two runs at it--87 and Algebra 1/2.

I think any of the choices of Statistics, AoPS Counting and Probability or AoPS Algebra 3 (the Intermediate Algebra textbook) would be a good choice.

TT pre-algebra is about half math skills, followed by half pre-algebra skills (working with x, etc.).
