Can I use Almond Paste instead of Almond Flour for Macaroons? ? I can't seem to find almond flower anywhere. So I got the closest thing. :/
Any advise? I was thinking about using regular flour but I heard it will ruin them.

No, almond paste is NOT a substitute for almond flour.
"Macaroons" are made will not allow that texture.
"Macarons" are made with almond flour.

It's one of those treats we both would over-eat, so I keep the almond flour in the freezer and basically make pancakes for holidays or special
They are on linda sues website....
But I do sometimes make pancakes from almond flour .

Is finer, so it is better for things like mini pancakes, but I like almond flour better fro biscuits for particular recipes one is better than the other....

Which rung for Almond Flour ? Sesame seeds ? Linda's Sesame Almond Thins require Almond Flour as well as sesame seeds. Would these go in the nut rung? or a different one ?
