My aloe veras are in a kitchen.
They need bright light in the house.
Aloe Veras need to be protected from harsh sun.
But they can tolerate it.

A question about aloe plants? i was just given an aloe plant which is a baby off shoot of the mother plant. the mother plant is very large and i don't think i will have room for such a large plant! is there a way to keep an aloe plant at a reasonable ...

Just a quick one but if you are growing larger Aloe Barbadensis Miller plants and the leaves are flopping on the ground it's usually because the plant is not getting enough wind.
Yep - Aloe Vera actually likes wind so if you have it in a sheltered area...

Hardly give them anything now and they seem right as rain. .
I did and that also seemed to cause the leaves to flop and turn yellowy .
I would add to the above - don't over water .

Hi I have offshoots of my aloe vera plant to give away. They are easy to grow. Just stick one in some moist soil and let nature take it's course! They don't need much water and within a few months you can start snapping off shoots to get at the lovely...

Just wanted to share my recent discoveries. Got given an aloe vera plant and have found that it works on eye infections( stys , conjunctavitus ), is great for excema and fantastic for cold sores( which my poor hubby suffers with from time to time...

I bought a medium size Aloe Vera plant about 12 months ago and it has grown so much - had about 14 are getting over-run with Aloe Vera plants! If all the plants multiply this fast I will need to have an Aloe....

The Aloe plant was cut and on it in no time at all kept it as a pot plant....
I had a rather nasty hot water burn on my arm .
The landlady, in the place we were staying in, told us to cut a leaf off an Aloe Vera plant growing.
