Altec only really offered 2 options for fully extended bass in a full range package, the Barcelona has the same size footprint as an A7 system, and is only a few inches shorter.

Factory condition and when Altec built these A7's if they had an 800 Hz crossover they had a 811 hornYou may want to try a search over at the Altec site.Replacing the EV's is a good idea IMHO to a 416 crossed at 1200 Hz (M19) crossover....

Short stature unless it's much further to the rear than I think it is, making it too short for an A7 making variations of the A7 plus shortening real ones became popular to increase driver loading.

Got a philosophical question. It would take a lot of effort and Bondo to square up all the corners on these bad boys. I could also put some effort into rounding up the corners so they don't look tattered. Is it considered poor form to have rounded corners...
