I was tooling around in my garage the other day , and thought , I wonder if it would be worth polishing the underside of the Hull ??
I have a bottle of Purple polish which I use on my car Bumpers etc and tried it on the hull.

Anyone have a home made way of attaching panels that previosly been spot welded on? The item in question is the right rear panel that has these spot welds to join to the tub wheel arch? Do you have to convert to rivets?

Make sure you rough up the surface first, or if possible acid etch it to shift as much aluminium oxide.
