Other things include DCS squelch, which while not as useful for amateur radio is great and its a great radio.

Any other hams out there with specific recommendations on installing ham gear in the car? I'm seeking advice on providing good power to equipment installed in the rear as well...

One thing I love about a radio installation in a TDI is that there is absolutely I mounted my radio in the trunk, and ran the controller cable all the way to the front of the dash, my radio has a detachable face....
