Are you proud to be an American? (By American, I mean the United States of America rather than North America and South America together.) A yes or no question is preferred, but I understand that things aren't always simple...

While we're on the subject, does anyone know what body wood is used on the American Standards? The Fender page clearly specifies the Specials as all being Alder, and you'd assume that would be the case for the Standards...but it's not listed...not even...
