There aren't a lot of people in Hampton Roads who are actually FROM the area. Everybody is military or have otherwise moved here from Pittsburgh or Maryland or something. To the extent that there is a native "tidewater" accent, it's pretty rare to hear...

I think if you have moved around a lot then you probably have a very neutral sounding accent not influenced a very pronounced welsh accent.....
Everyone has their own ideas as to what sounds good .
Some accents sound nice others don't.

There's no way to get all the accents you want in ASCII; some characters, no umlauts, no accents.
You cannot represent accents and umlauts in an ASCII encoded file simply because these characters read all the extended characters.
