Does anyone know of a library or bit of code that converts British English to American English and vice versa?
I don't imagine there's too many differences (some examples that come to mind are doughnut/donut, colour/color, grey/gray, localised/localized...

I think if you're thinking of converting from American EnglishThe difference between UK and US English is far greater than just a difference in spelling to British English, I personally wouldn't bother....

Pronunciation - American and English - evolution? I hear English people around me pronounce evolution as 'Ee-volution' and Americans on TV as 'Eh-volution.'

Should we write in American English or English English (as I like to call it) on our blog posts. It feels kind of odd writing in American English, particularly using color instead of colour.

Quite a depressing day when a British paper starts using American English. In this case, 'programme' is replaced by 'program'.
