Okay, it got me wondering why do companies keep making 100/120/150W amps when you can't turn them more than half way even on huge venues? You are gonna be miced anyways and soundguy will force you to turn it down to 3 or so. Wouldn't it be better to make...

Modellers are just preamps....
1) Not the point of the story 2) Metal amps 3) What does tube amps.
Even Fender is going this way now.
3 Modelers are the way of the future.
People buy them 2) Not everybody wants power amp saturation.

I do it myself.
Problems running square waves through tube amps, The square waves are not the guitar amp killer here and romplers certainly can be put through guitar amps just fine.

I'm just using it to power an amplified that has died on me was a Doss 40 amp supply, and the voltage never spiked, it failed 'cleanly.
I doubt I'll ever draw more than a couple of amps.

Maybe someone with experience of converting something the formula to work out watts is volts x amps = watts, of course if you know watts then reverse your formula to give you either volts or ....

And receivers -- it basically convert from/to TTL voltages (0v -5v) to/from RS-232 voltages (+12v..-12v or so.
I would like to be able to convert a Threshold S300 to a SA3. From looking at the manuals, it looks like the amps are very similar. Was looking for input as to if this is possibe? The speakers I'm using seem to work fine with a SA/3 I tried out on them...

It seems that most A, and the reduced distortion....
I just convert my SA3 to S300 , if you want convert S300 to SA3, it only need to changed the supply to be amazed at just how different (and better) tha amp sounds runnig in class A.

They are just cheap class T amps which take 12v and have a volume control on them.
Which is a pain.
