Just because a tool produces number and colorful charts, it does not mean....
It is meant as a warning against using Awstats and the like .

Are there good tools that can track what actions a certain subset of visitors (i.e. from a particular source) do once they're on your site? As far as I know (which could be wrong), Google Analytics can't do this beyond telling you how long they stayed...

I found....
They are both good.
Lyris should get that done for you and is much more affordable, and easier to implement .
It is also hard (read expensive) to implement.
Omniture does it all, most likely way beyond what you were thinking of spending, I'm sure .

Google Analytics is more complicated and takes a little time to understand, is updated daily, and has with Mint, used both of them for a while....
I use Clicky on my site and find it to be an excellent .

You could use google analytics.
I´m using Admob Analytics , it´s free.
Agreed; you can just analyse the stats with something like awstats .
Analyzer serves my needs quite well for mobile analytics.
