Back in Oct I broke 3 bones in my ankle and had to get 8 screws and a plate in it...all from derby practice. I am anticipating getting released by my doc to start skating again at the end of this month!
I am considering getting new boots to help support...

Another way to go is to concentrate less on the boot and possibly go with an ankle brace Rebel boots ....
boots that actually offer any real ankle support would be a competition grade boot, read something pricey.

I think that the price is reasonable.

I recently picked up a pair of interesting black leather ankle boots and they raise a question. The boots are the expected pre-WWII half-boots with laces/eyes/hooks on the front that I intend to use with a set of leather puttees for a Weimar Republic...

I have a pair of super spray on skinny jeans which I love but I am struggling for footwear. I need something for the day with a bit of height.
