Is there any delay in connection when a consumer answers his phone and the agent get conneted to that call when calling in ratio or predictive mode ?

Mostly it depends on how quick your database can find the available agent .

If it rings and he's not there to answer it or vice versa.
we don't answer each others phone.
if dh's phone rings it usually someone from work etc.and i presume whoever is ringing wants to speak to him not me.
thats what voicemail is for.

Subject says it all really. Switched from BT to PN for phone (and Broadband) and answer messages that were going to our own TrueCall call filtering and answer phone device have ended up on the service voice mail instead because of fewer rings before PN...

Phone answering wages? When I went out on my own in January this year, I got a second cell phone as a dedicated business number.
I thought I would kep it with me untill the phone calls start interfering with my work and then forward the calls to someone...

Seems like my days just get more and more unproductive. Between the phone and email some days I do nothing or at least that's the way it feels. One guy I worked for when I was younger only answered his phone between 1 and 3 pm, he would return messages...

Right now Taft Sportsmen's Club uses the club president's home phone number as our phone number. Well he hardly answers his phone because of it and I don't blame him.
