Sillydill knows flutes and it's bound to be as good as he says.
But somebody ought to buy this flute.
A couple of folks have already mentioned this on the forum, so it's time to post a picture. This started with several people asking about offset tone holes and more closely spaced tone holes for comfort and playability, and the answer is generally "you...

I have chance to save a small milling machine its a bit dusty about 4 feet high, old school super heavy, with all kinds of pullys, I think circa 1910-25 by my guess, remember I'm a new guy here, it appears to have a couple pieces missing some surface ...

Yesterday, I attended the MAAC show. It's not normally known for a lot of S&W revolvers from a collecting perspective. There are lots of Winchester rifles, Colt SAA revolvers, and military arms. However, in all fairness, I've gotten some fine revolvers...

The ivory insert is probably the original, but hard.
Boxwood body, the flute becomes vary head heavy.
I see a lot of flutes for sale with the sounding length given; why? Also, what is the interest in flutes in keys other than D? I have recordings of Matt Molloy on Bb and Eb flutes, but I wouldn't know if I weren't told. Seems a pointless expense to me...
