I will be stalling out at this fair for the first time this weekend. It's on Fri 3rd/Sat 4th/Sun 5th Feb. I'll be in main hall and would love to say hello to anyone who comes along. It's a huge fair so lots to see.

Lately I've been devouring the shows Pawn Stars and Auction Hunters, and am going to be really sad when I've seen all the episodes available.
Does anyone know of any other shows in the same vein as these ones? I'm guessing there will be more cos they ...

The only 'fair' trades I have seen are where the sellers get cash) but generally come up to half of the appraised value, which is fair.

Yes, its fun to see the amazement on the owners' faces, but how realistic is the figure given? I believe those guys know their merchandise, but I also think they give very generous estimates on value. It's one thing to sell at a fawncy shop in Beverly...

Hence so many of our dealers going antiques from local castles.
Fair point fid, I know things sell cheaper across the Channel.

Both radios were in fair to good condition.
