I've tried other web sites and they....
When the number broadband so this could be the answer then it's their continual poor service and not Flickr.
On Flickr itself, it's apparently only affecting a handful of the millions of users.

Sometime in the last day or so, Flickr has begun reporting the wrong focal length for some photos. For example:

says the focal length is 600mm. The photo was taken with a 100-300mm zoom lens on a micro...

I can confirm what you're seeing .
"600mm", which (apparently) Flickr is misreading as the focal length.
