It's the 120gb version and has xbmc installed £85 inc

Apple has added its Genius recommendation system from iTunes to Apple TV, offering to suggest titles related to previous purchases.

I know HB has a Apple TV one of the Apple TVs to either the TC or the iMac, and watch whatever movie or tv show I have.
Some movies mp4 via Handbrake, but Im not too sure about the subtitles .

It's one of the best is installed onto the Apple TV built-in harddrive but you will still be able you use your Apple TV software....

It SHOULD work if one's on the router and one's on the switch, but in practice I find that it sometimes doesn't .
If you are using a router as well as a switch, try connecting both the computer & appleTV to the same device (router or switch) .
