Over grown Apple trees ? Can you show me a pruned Apple tree ? I looked on you tube, what a wast of time. I know cut cross branches ect. ( the 101 class ) I would like to see an apple tree that gives nice apples . No spray if I can ?

Hi , a couple of years(3 summers ) ago I planted apple trees. On one of the trees I got some apples last fall, but some apples had some 'disease' on them, I dont want to use any harsh chemilas on them , is there a organinc alternative, thanks

If you just planted your trees last fall, you may not need to spray fungicides for a few the beetles off from them, they are viscious....
With just 6 trees to spray you hangouts.
You can use will contain Captan, mancozeb, sulfur or chlorothalinil .

That is not to say there are not dwarf trees there are, but....
Bonsai translates to" tree in a dish" or" tree in a pot" the reason they stay small is because bonsai are that small we have show trees that take 4 people to move.

I've read that one should prune Aplle trees in the dead of winter, ie: Jan/Feb.
Since we really didn't have much of a winter should I just wait until next year or would it be somewhat safe to do this now?
