Over grown Apple trees ? Can you show me a pruned Apple tree ? I looked on you tube, what a wast of time. I know cut cross branches ect. ( the 101 class ) I would like to see an apple tree that gives nice apples . No spray if I can ? thanks

If you just planted your trees last fall, you may not need to spray fungicides for a few the beetles off from them, they are viscious....
With just 6 trees to spray you hangouts.
You can use will contain Captan, mancozeb, sulfur or chlorothalinil .

apple trees in a front garden would be asking for trouble from kids "robbing the orchard" unless your front garden is not visible from the road.

That is not to say there are not dwarf trees there are, but....
Bonsai translates to" tree in a dish" or" tree in a pot" the reason they stay small is because bonsai are that small we have show trees that take 4 people to move.
I've read that one should prune Aplle trees in the dead of winter, ie: Jan/Feb. Since we really didn't have much of a winter should I just wait until next year or would it be somewhat safe to do this now? Thx, Mike

The reason to prune during the dormant season....
Some advise to prune late in the winter so the cuts don't "dry out .
Did some research as the tree is dormant.
I also need to trim my apple tree's.

And help you choose a good tree.
