Yes, you can use views , which are basically a wrapper around ... .
There is a good article about how to use them on O'Reilly .
BIND 9 has a feature to do exactly that, called "views" .

Edit: There's some good info on forms, POST/GET, this is what Google does for their search....
This persists the form data that your search results pages will be bookmarkable.
For the search information, you could use GET instead of POST.
