How does one go about making a lot of money in psychiatry? Do specializations like Pain Medicine or Child Psych increase income a lot? If so, which one pays more?
Answer Snippets (Read the full thread at studentdoctor):

Child psych or pain are likely the most lucrative subspecialities.
Psych is one of the few fields where it is quite possible to not accept insurance hours work week this is more than $300k/yr net.
