OK, this is the system that sells for $398 new at Wal-Mart right now. Basic specs:
AMD Athlon 64 2650e processor, 1.6GHz
1GB DDR2 memory (I think PC5300, 667MHz speed)
160GB hard drive
DVD burner

Depending upon how fast of a card you want, it might be necessary to upgrade the PSU .
You can use anything that fits into your computer case and doesn't exceed the capacity of your power supply .
