When I was in Atlantic city we used New Jersey transit to and from New York Port authority.
Out the best and cheapest way to get from Boston to Atlantic City - are there buses or trains going are reasonable enough too.

I don't know how many of you remember or ever heard that the boardwalk in Atlantic City, NJ had a horse diving show on the famed Steel Pier. The show ran from the 1920's to the late 1970's. There was a 1991 movie made based on this called Wild Horses ...
