Answer Snippets (Read the full thread at stackoverflow):
The Wikipedia article on H.264 makes it pretty have to multiplex it together with... .
On the other hand, it sounds compression, which has nothing to do with audio at all.
That's how you can watch an H.264 video that has sound as well .
audio.

You can them....
Simply import the media and drag it onto the timeline .
Solved the problem by using YAMB and creating a new mp4 by merging http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Yamb.htm
You can do this easily with most video editing software such as Cinefx .

Anyone care to share their experience of cutting multitrack audio with "X"? Specifically: 4 tracks of isolated audio per video clip. Extra credit if you're using dual system multitrack audio with 8-24 iso track of audio. Anybody? mark

What about multi-track audio situations where you really need each audio together....
Because the multi-track audio workarounds, like "break apart" and "detach" are not available to be in relation to the single Primary.

I need a good sound card that supports multi-track ASIO editing as well as 7.1 surround sound editing, as my sound editing software requires this. I need it primarily for hardware mixing versus recording, as the sounds I need to mix are already in digital...

Every once in a while I'll come across a video that I want to watch (whether it be youtube or otherwise), and the sound, for whatever reason, will be only coming out one speaker. It's not a problem with my hardware, or any kind of configuration; it's ...

Not exactly a solution for you, but the 'ecasound' package will, at the command line, fake stereo from a mono sound file .
In the gnome sound mixer, you can just mute one channel if you click the unlink button so the sliders don't move together .

Is it possible to play 2 (or more) audio tracks inside a container (for instance mkv) at the same time in bsplayer?

AVI or MKV container has 4 audio....
I know about simple.
I don't have an MKV with multiple audio.
File yes, there's an option called "Play all" (right click -> Adio -> Audio streams -> Play all) I believe in MKV it's the same.

Audio tracking? (May be a little misleading) This may be a little difficult to explain but is there any kind of software or online tools where I can post a sample of an audio file and track down the source/site of which it came from?
