Cleaning Coins mariner3800 on Fri Apr 20, 2012 7:53 pm
Hi All,
I managed to pick up a very nice 1879 Sixpence today and the stamping is still very bold. I was wondering how I should clean this coin as I have had a go in the past and they have all gone...
Answer Snippets (Read the full thread at 4umer):
Get advice....
This doesn't sound like a very scientific website a cool $1M .
The patina protects the coins surface.
Most threepences and sixpences are so thin coins they are all of the coin.
coin it tarnish and get black colour.
