I'm using avast version 6 and latest version of firefox. After upgrading ff to version 4 when I launch ff it cause a complete freeze of windows (7 ultimate) and then bsod comes up. I disabled avast and the problem solved. Though I mainly use ie9 for browsing...

Hi , web scan and email scan is ok in avast 7 gui but they don't scan anything , it'of in avast 6 ?

I've used Avast for some 6 years now and always found it great, but I've recently I use AVG Free and Firefox....
"Don't pick with the utmost suspicion.
Avast is far more efficient than the 2012 AVG.
And older specs tend to slow with it.
