I think there already some threads about it but i couldnt find one ( may im too stupid?^^). so why i need to wait for an approval when i upload a new profile picture? and how long does this take usually and who approvs this?

I deleted some spammers in the registeration.log file, because of an error, now it keeps saying...
There are 13 validated Registrants awaiting approval.
But there are none. Hows can I clear that?

With the rash of spam'ers in the public section of this forum I would like to suggest "Awaiting Activation" users be set to read only until approved.
And if not all ready being done an activation email be sent to the new user after approval.

This isnt unique to me either, the other admin AND a member had one of their posts removed (awaiting moderation) - I can see the post but no-one else can, when i click APPROVE it takes me to moderation section but there is nothing there to approve...?...

You will find (awaiting activation ) mess on your category where the post was waiting for approval are selecting the second option and that's where you're NOT seeing posts awaiting approval, correct approval.
