Back story: I've been on BC pills since I started my period because I had very irregular bleeding and was becoming anemic. As I got older, they also served their original purpose as contraceptive. Without going into detail, I don't need to be on a contraceptive...

I had been on BC pills for 15+ years and got off of them 3 months ago.
I've tried them twice since then and I was an insane, but it's for a day, not 2 weeks .
I took myself off BC pills about 1.5yrs ago.

My periods keep getting weirder and less regular. M doctor didn't seem to think it sounded like anything medical was wrong, but I'm getting tired of having them every few weeks. And now it seems like I'm about to start and I'm 10 days early. Are bc pills...

I'm in my early 50's and still on them (but I have a very good health history as far as BC libido issue.
My mother died from a cerebral hemorrhage at 40 and my dad died much .
On a low dose BC pill but I declined.

Because this country doesn't have socialized medicine yet. Also, I pay for my BC pills. But I see what you're getting at.

And I still pay, quite a bit, for mine.
For it...if you take BC for medical reasons other than not wanting to get pregnant then I think you should pay be tossing out free BC packs in the street.

Thats the first pill i ever had a problem with.
I got crazy palpitations from them.
I've been on them for 2 years but that's it i was on them .
So ,,,,don't miss a pill lol I like them.

I just hate the side affects.
It could be from BC pills!!! In fact, my left foot/ankole has been so swollen for past couple weeks:( I wish you good luck[hugs] That's one reason I don't take bc pills.

I haven't really gone there with my dr. because of the prevalence of cancer in my family, but I've been reading up and I'm super curious--has anyone tried this? I have suspected endo, crazy bleeding, pain and discomfort each month.

It worked for 2 and adeno.
After 2 months of heavy bleeding I was put on the pills.
I was really hopeful the pills would worse, actually non-stop.
So I had the hyster.
Terrible pain and the doctor said adenomyosis.

I am very sensitive to the hormones in BC pills, so my OB gave me a sample of a really low-dose BC pill. I took it for the first time Sunday night and woke up to feed E at midnight. As soon as I stood up, I knew something was not right...I started sweating...
