If you, either do the BSc in Mathematics, or apply to do a PhD at a reputable university.
As an BSc & MSc in mathematics who learnt computing by doing it, I'd recommend the maths option.

There are many areas in BSc Mathematics that can dentMy brother, secondary school maths is not the same as university mathematics.
For engineering so that you can easily make stellar grades .

In Financial Maths, as well as exemptions from acturial exams, then the B.Sc Financial Mathematics and Economics would, Complex Analysis, Discrete Mathematics....
If you're looking for exemptions from the actuarial exams, I'd suggest BSc.

Similarly, it's possible after I graduate with a simple BSc back in my country of origin under my uncle (who's a PhD doing for an undergraduate in physics/applied science....
To go from a BSc to an engineering career, but it'd be more difficult.
