Hi, I have this TV but it doesn't seem to sufer from bleed.
Usually its 1 year I think.
Im warranty.
Which is probably why you are experiencing high levels of backlight bleed.
On contrast, brightness, etc.

I swore off samsung in 2008 when I bought a tv and it had horrible back light bleeding and ended up being screwed because I lost the panel lottery..
Return it and get another brand.
I'd say keep it as blb is a real crap shoot .

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone spotted intense backlight bleeding on their W520?
Full black on my W520's panel looks terrible, it's not classic bleeding only from the sides but rather huge white spot in the center of the screen as well.

Rarely do the HPs have back light bleed - owned three ....
The one I currently have bright colors, though often are plagued with backlight bleed.
Go with the Asus VE258Q, rarely do they have any backlight bleed.
