Help with 1911 while hunting wearing a backpack
Hope this is nothing to worry about. When I'm hunting, we wear packs including waist straps. I have the long gun for hunting, but like to have the 1911 on me as well.

Are you asking if the waist strap of the backpack will bend the gun's hammer? I can't imagine that you can put the existing holster onto the backpack waist strap? (instead of on YOUR belt better with a backpack, as in more comfortable....

Ok I broke my old packframe finally (hated that thing) and I have been comparison shopping hunting backpacks. I am looking for something to use as a daypack and meat-hauler with the ability to be used as 3-5 day hunt...

That way I can swap between wide angle the pointers .
Out with real quick without having to take my backpack off.

I would carry as little as possable on me (gun,knife,optics) save your for miles .

Anybody use a backpack with some kind of attachment to carry their bow also. What would you look for different than what you have now.

Your bow, rifle in before the sun is up, that it is nice to stow....
After the fact, don't mean to be a prick, but the attachment only comes in handy after the fact .
rifle or whatever should be in your hand at ALL times when you're hunting...

Has a rifle scab in the back, lots of pockets could carry a rifle as well.
Badlands Super Day is awesome.
Blacked out You can easily adjust the sling to handle any length rifle and position to shooting in two seconds.
