I put in the drive Backup Exec shows them as being cleaning media. The tapes are fine... SureStore Tape 12000e DDS drive attached to the server. Backup Exec recognizes the autoloader under... tapes show up as cleaning media after an inventory. http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/190...

Overwritable media in to robotic library." The tapes I have in the library and set for overwriteable , and reinsert the media, then rerun the job and it works fine. i have run the cleaning tapes on all yesterday's last backup. To be honest its a mix of old and new tapes....no hard errors, some soft errors

Hi I need help with this problem. I'm using an Exabyte 430 with Mammoth-2 tapes. These are Tape as cleaning media after an inventory. It didn't do this with BE9. Any ideas? Thanks. the "Searching for cleaning media" dialog box, or all tapes show up as cleaning media...

tapes, and DVDs, and not specific to my situation. My Dell is now 4 years old, the c: drive has never I've searched and there are a few threads about backup software, but they are mostly for servers with computer skills so the hassle of doing manual migrations and setting up backups isn't a big deal to me...
