-loosen lower alternator bolt
-unplug alternator and remove grounding wire
-remove alternator upper bolt then remove bottom bolt
-it will take some elbow grease and finagling to get the alternator....

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think it's just a hot wire, ground wire and a couple bolts this summer.. .
If it has a bad bearing you should be able the alternator.
Take the belt off and manually spin the alternator.

Noticed the belt was hitting the alternator and causing the belt to spray a dust everywhere. Its not the belt, tried that. Also it only does it when throttle is applied, not at idle.
I would just grind down the fin a little on the alternator so it wont...

Get a Kateck fixed tensioner and you'll never buy another one again .
If you tried a new belt already, its definitely the tensioner .

Thanks for the reply but the problem was the defective alternator diodes pulling out now at 14.6 charging and 12.5 off.
