Sample Chatter Excerpts
Should children say the Pledge of Allegiance in public schools?
Yea we would all love that, but then the Atheist would get their panties in a bunch. So much of a bunch it would break their balls and we would never hear a end to the complaining and whining. source
Historically, has corporal punishment been more prevelant in Catholic schools than other schools?
The corporal punishment that is usually thought of to be in Catholic schools is along the lines of being smacked with a ruler. I'm not saying we should smack kids with rulers but there are much worse forms of corporal punishment many of which are known to be in secular schools and I have never heard of being in Catholic schools. So I don't think severe is what is really thought of when we think of Catholic schools using corporal punishment. source
Do all schools give students a PDA?
My friend got a PDA when he started pharmacy school and a bunch of drug databases. I was wondering if this is standard for all pharmacy schools? source
Which schools count GRE Quant higher?
I don't think Penn weights the Quant more, just that they want to see a higher score on Quant than they do on Verbal because as everyone said it's harder to do well on Verbal and the percentiles matter more than the actual score. I think their average Quant is around 710 and average Verbal is around 580 for people accepted. I think this is due to the nature of the GRE though and not really specific to Penn. I would expect that most schools had a higher average Quant for accepted students. source
Which schools don't utilize interviews?
I believe if you have a certain GPA and amount of experience, you don't need to interview at Michigan. It's not guaranteed, though, since it likely depends on the applicant pool. source
