Just heard on the news that one of the so called "Discount" Airlines, Spirit, is fixing to raise their "Carry-On" Baggage Fees to $100!!! No word on When, or what Flights etc. but they seem like they want to emnulate Ryan Air by Charging the Most Outrageous...

I did not want to check any baggage as a passenger on a flight when the service was offered free of charge to most — if not all — passengers because the service was often bad or nonexistent, which included but was not limited to... Lost baggage Damaged...

This is from someone who is exempt from fees and checks a bag perhaps about half.
NO and there's no plan to improve as long as carriers don't have to refund fees for late, missing on to avoid fees.

Q: Copies Od Receipts For Baggage Fees I never received a receipt for my $25.00 payment for the luggage fee on a recent American Airline flight. How do I contact someone there for a duplicate receipt?

As of last week, Interjet was not charging extra for boards on domestic(mexico) flights that said, it is up to the gate agent and subject to change at any moment .

That was a sarcastic statement really, I am aware that it is not the customer but the wallet that has any chance of being right .
