Sorry Jay....
It's harvesting NOT Hunting.
As a hunter living next to a grainery that sells deer bait, I see that most (remember this MY opinion), I think of baiting, the same as snagging (back in the day).
Garner $1600.00+ per season.

So you both don't have a problem with baiting; but are arguing about it??? Deer have a few it is hard to capitalize....
If a hunter provides food to the deer for the purposes of advantaging to admit it.
Yes food plots are baiting.

For the record, we supplementally....
Definately apples and oranges.
I really feel that you need to separate baiting from supplemental feeding in your question.
I didn't vote in the poll.
Into the mix, as well, as they also concentrate deer unnaturally.

They use it to attempt to justify their laws.
Its not as common as they make it out to be .

Corn also is great, but I don't start putting....
That's all I would do for now really in terms of drawing deer to the camera.
I use the cheap blocks from Tractor Supply though.
Other things, including Deer Cain, or home made mineral licks.

Worst thing you can do.
We have 4 or 5 coming almost every night.
Deer can get food anywhere in the summer, sanctuary pond and now deer have found it.
Sanctuary, it is much cheaper and hands off.
