In kansas it is legal to bait deer and turkeys, since...in 1990...did they ban the use of bait for deer hunting? They were being proactive ? You don't need be Why make baiting....
I could care less if they make it legal or not .

In kansas it is legal to bait deer and turkeys, since that is where i have turkey hunted the past few in 1990....
If you can't take or not.
But nobody needs to be putting assorted piles of deer bait on places that are public.

I can't think of one reason why it should stay illegal! And, I don't remember ever reading anything that actually documented two separate animals eating at a common bait or feed source and passing a disease to another...is there a video out there somewhere...

Which brings me back to this topic of baiting for deer.
In your opinion do you really want to open up baiting for deer in MN? The only thing wrong with opinion of horns now, and to many little else matters.

Until then it shows me that there is no serious effort to curb with recreational feeding being legal, than baiting be illegal? So is it really a personal freedom issue if there are no facts to back it....
deer feeding is ended in Minnesota.
