Holder Eden cabs are equiped w/ 1/4 inch and banana plugs, and now they come out with 1/4 and speakon plugs.
Is is possible / worth replacing the bananas with speakon?
(I ask because I'm looking at used cabs...)

I use for commercial electrical....
I had a banana plug vibrate out of the connection to my amp during a gig.
Oh, I thought 1/4 inch plugs were better than banana is the weakest link.
Doesn't lock in the same fashion as speakon.

Recently I purchased 2-5300mah 2s 7.4v Li-po's and they came with banana plugs. I had to convert the battery leads to deans. The wire leads from the batteries were 12 gauge and it was hard to solder them to deans.
I was thinking of soldering the female...

You mean at the guitar itself? Heck yeah you can. Just gotta do a little choppy-choppy to the body to make everything fit, but I wonder if a Speakon connector would affect your tone. Same reason you don't wanna use speaker-gauge wire for a signal cable...
