My husband just left yesterday for a deployment to the middle east (or "sandbox" as they call it).

I have one friend who takes on many college students horses for lesson horses while they are in college, which is another option if your horse has the mind the financial burden was not on me....
And see if you can get a tax write off .

I loved his suggestion that if Hansen is winning, the band should play the William Tell Overture (Lone Ranger theme) as they come down the backstretch.
It was very interesting.
