I filed bankruptcy 7 years ago. My attorney died in an accident last year? I think it was chapter 7, a 10 year bankruptcy. Now that I have questions before my bankruptcy is over, what do I do?

10 years is the length of time it stays on your credit report .
If you filed 7 years ago, your bankruptcy has been discharged 5+ years ago.

I just filed bankruptcy myself today, I understood all the forms and did it myself. So why do people think that it's such a bad idea to do it alone when you understand what you're doing?
