I recently got a 1d horse that is blown up and was wanting some help as to how to "fix him." He's very hot in the alley and blows by the second and third barrels. I can't even take him on a trail ride out in the pasture without him taking off with me....

It truly sounds like that he's a blown up barrel horse...
And start from there - I would not even show the horse a barrel for at least a year.

It takes months and years to train a good barrel horse.

Horse won't got fast than a trot around barrels? ? I'm training this horse on barrels & she will walk it , & trot is AMAZINGLY . then I try to get her to canter around the barrels & she won't she we slow down right when we are fixing to get to the barrel...

a 1d 2d barrel horse, you can get a good one for 10,000+
and a 2d 3d 6,000+
a 3d 4d 3,000+
and a solid 4d horse 1,000+
you can win money with a 4d barrel horse to find barrel....

Barrel Horse help I bought a horse and she had potential to be a barrel horse. Is there any exercises to build muscle or something or good ways to practice on the barrels? When you run her she don't know how to slow down and turn so she turn really wide...

The horse will become sour not very long into barrel but stay 3 to 5 feet....
It'll be to much for the horse.
