So how do I get a new replacement stock, or one that is similar to the Finnish snipers for a project rifle? The barrel is mint the action old as the hills all in good condition, but it has no wood.

Http The barrel is just WOW! The action is 117 years old and looks better than most Mausers I have seen from post put that fine barreled-action....
That I assembled a nice M39 barreled action, it is a nice shooter!

This would be a SUPERB rifle for nearly ALL "medium-size" game (from Whitetail deer) and smaller. Talk about your "pot meat" carbine!
Rabbits? Use .32 S&W Long loaded with 98-grain round-nosed lead bullets.
Coyotes? Upper-end .32 H&R Magnum loads will...

The Marlin (in .32 H&R Magnum) is an easy conversion that the 16" barrel would....
This is a GREAT with their lever action in a number of calibers.
For a 18" barrel for added speed, accuracy and hitting power while keeping it compact.

Barreled action accuracy check??
My friend inherited a barreled 1903 springfield action in 25.06. the action has not been fit to a stock yet. Barrel is stamped Choate--25-06
is there anyway to check the accuracy of this barrel before he spends a bundle...

Rc it has a one piece leupold base mounted on the action! I'll look for a take off springfield.

Looking to sell my Surgeon 1086 barreled action - all work on this rifle was performed by Chad Dixon of LongRifles Inc.

There are many examples of Finn rifles that the production was less than 6000 .
Think the stock is original to barreled receiver barreled example.
Missing hand guard, barrel bands x2 and cleaning rod.
