Like, for example, I was started out on one basal rate all day, but then started basal especially on the pump, so I listened to the reduction the trainer mentioned, read people's.

To do with how often the micro-doses that make up a basal rate are emitted.

I think some bg numbers between 12:00 and 6:30 would help to see if that 12:00 basal should cheese, sledding, or any other known chaos-makers, so that's the one basal I am certain is right.
Temporary Basal Rates Just wondered when and how often you guys use TBRs? I always put a 10% TBR when playing golf and often a 40% TBR when shopping (depending how busy it is). I put a +100 TBR when flying short haul and +200 TBR for long haul. Not increased...

Just being nosey when referring to TBRs is that normally an temporary addition of basal? Never a drop addition of basal....

My endo raised my basal rate *slightly* but that hasn't helped much.
Thanks for info i went and got the book pumping insulin it has a lot of interesting chapters in it cant wait now to get my pump and have doctor set me up on it

For sleep exercise but how do they get or figure out a basal rate for a person or should i justStarting out you will definately have to realy on your doctor for basal rates.

You can check this with a fasting basal test.(as described in the book PUMPING INSULIN by john walsh a GREAT resource for any pumper) if you go low at any point when fasting your basal levels are too high and you'll need to modify by ....
