Hello all.
I am about to purchase 4 X 125ah Xplorer sealed batteries as replacements for the boats existing battery bank.
They come with a 4 year warrenty and life cycle of 500 at 50% discharge.
Cost is £86.50 per battery. (if I collect myself)

I've had the worst luck with these chargers... The one that came with my Humminbird portable pack lasted 1 year, my replacement just died on me today. There's gotta be something better out there... What are you guys using?

If you just want to take the battery you may be able that will refurbish batteries - they take your existing unit, open it up and replace the nimh/li-ion cells inside.
Often they are advertised as for parts / repair.

I've seen "new" alkalines perform poorly and installing lithium batteries solved the problem.
