I've got a Sony Vaio VGN-Z21VN. When I put it into hibernate ( not sleep) the battery drains - after 24 hours or so the battery is dead.
Any ideas on how to troubleshoot or fix this?
UPDATE : It turns out that the battery drains even when my Sony Vaio...

Simple electronics....
The computer, there's always a closed circuit somewhere which allows electricity to flow thus draining the battery.
If it does not drain after 24 hours, then it's not really hibernating.
Is a bad battery.

I'm afraid I introduced a memory leak or something to version 1.2 of my iPhone app. When I use 1.2 version I notice that my battery drains a lot quicker then with 1.1 version. For comparison, with 1.1 version the battery would last whole day and still...

Increased battery utilization usually means something is causing your code to continue running probably) and let it sit there....
However, if a memory leak persists, eventually will be killed .
Memory leaks will not cause increased battery usage.

I accidentally left the key on on my '08 Craftsman Pro. Since then the original battery will not hold a charge at all. I know the battery is getting old but before draining it it never failed and always cranked strong.
